How to prepare
- Wear clothing without metal if you have been advised to do so.
- Tell the team if there is any chance of pregnancy before X-ray.
- Bring previous imaging if you have it, to avoid unnecessary repeat studies.
- Arrive on time so the imaging slot can run without rush.
Questions patients often ask
Imaging is generally arranged after clinical assessment. Request an appointment if you are unsure whether an X-ray is appropriate.
X-rays use ionising radiation. They are used when the clinical benefit outweighs the small associated risk. Inform the team about pregnancy or other concerns before imaging.
Request a x-ray visit
Request a visit and the Clinova team will confirm a time that works. No unnecessary medical details are collected online.
